Nuggets makes it onto Fintech Power 50

The listicle also includes such big hitters as Revolut, N26, Starling Bank, Mambu and Earthport

Blockchain powered e-commerce payments and ID venture, Nuggets, has been included in the Fintech Power 50.

This is an annual guide to the most influential, innovative and powerful figures in the FinTech industry. It’s supported by London & Partners, the Mayor of London’s official agency, which promotes London as a leading world city in which to invest, work, study and visit, together with Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK), the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government Department responsible for foreign direct investment.

“All too often, we sacrifice our most sensitive information for convenience, log in with Facebook for example, or simply because there’s no other alternative,” says Alastair Johnson, Founder and CEO of Nuggets.

“When interacting with businesses, individuals effectively trust that their data is being kept away from prying eyes or malicious actors. But it’s not. In the past few weeks alone, tech giants Facebook and Google have proven their inability to adequately protect their users.”

“Our goal is to recognise the game changers, movers, and shakers who are really making a difference to our industry. Being part of the Fintech Power 50 is not an award, it is a great recommendation tool and a testament to the work you or your company is doing to help the sector innovate and grow,” comments Jason Williams, Founder of The Fintech Power 50.
