Beware Bitcoin Revolution, Malta Financial Services Authority

The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) has issued a warning related to a company called Bitcoin Revolution, labelling it “an international scam”.

“The MFSA wishes to alert the public, in Malta and abroad, that no person is currently authorised under the Virtual Financial Assets Act (Chapter 590 of the Laws of Malta) as at today. Bitcoin Revolution is NOT a Maltese registered Company NOR licenced or otherwise authorised by the MFSA to provide any investment or other financial services which are required to be licenced or otherwise authorised under Maltese law,” it says in a statement.

“Furthermore, information available to the MFSA suggests that Bitcoin Revolution is likely to be an international “get-rich-quick” cryptocurrency scam. The public should therefore refrain from undertaking any business or transactions with the entity operating under the name of Bitcoin Revolution.”
