Binance’s Trust Wallet to add support for Stellar Lumens (XLM)

The founder of Binance’s Trust Wallet, Viktor Radchenko, has confirmed that Stellar Lumens (XLM) will be the next cryptocurrency to be supported within the wallet.

In an exclusive interview with Coin Rivet, Radchenko revealed that Trust Wallet will continue to add coins to the app on a weekly basis.

The addition of XLM follows the firm’s decision to add support for XRP and credit card deposits, which was added on March 13.

“We want to make sure every person can store every type of asset in the world. We are adding support for Stellar on Thursday along with another four coins,” Radchenko told Coin Rivet.

“Stellar was the next one after XRP in terms of community requests, so we will add that as well as Aion and three others.”

Trust Wallet was acquired by Binance in 2018 and will act as the native wallet for Binance’s upcoming DEX, which is scheduled for release in the next “one or two months.”

Radchenko also revealed that while several dApps were already on the Trust Wallet app, the initial focus will be on adding support for most cryptocurrencies before the year is over.

He added: “Our infrastructure in place allows us to add a few coins per week.”
