Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, took to Twitter on Christmas Day to voice his disapproval of Bitcoin SV, labelling the new hard fork of Bitcoin Cash a “pure dumpster fire”.
Whilst the rest of us were succumbing to a heady mix of food, booze and Only Fools and Horses repeats (or was that last one just me?), Buterin was entering into a debate with Adamant Capital founder, Tuur Demeester.
Yeah no, I have my disagreements with the bitcoin roadmap, PoW, etc but they're trying to do something that's genuinely cool tech. BSV is a pure dumpster fire.

Bashing Ethereum
Demeester, meanwhile, followed this up a few days later with an epic Twitter rant in which he argued that Ethereum was at best a $13 billion science experiment. He made the case against Ethereum in a 50-point tweetstorm, during which he labelled it “the Yahoo of our day – an unscalable “blue chip” cryptocurrency”.
