BitGuild follows ICO with cryptogaming partnerships

Blockchain gaming platform, BitGuild, has announced three partnerships, in turn adding new games to its portal.

Axie Infinity, ETH.TOWN and Mythereum will soon be available to registered users, alongside the RPG game Ether.Online, which has been on the portal since it launched in May.

BitGuild allow gamers to interact through buying and selling in-game assets. Its platform tokenizes in-game assets, meaning that users can trade and transfer items between other players and other games.

“The entire Mythereum team is dedicated to supporting the nascent cryptogaming community. From our perspective, the best way to foster growth of this space is to help players discover fun and engaging gaming experiences. We believe BitGuild is providing a valuable platform that will uplift the entire community, and we’re proud to be a part of that,” says Mark Ranford, Co-founder of Mythereum.

In March, BitGuild, which is founded by Jared Psigoda, previously the Co-founder and CEO of R2Games, raised more than $20 million in its ICO and private sale, landing the support of Justin Sun of TRON and various other backers. In addition to new games and features within the portal, the venture is also working on a game incubator and will soon include a marketplace, where virtual assets can be bought and sold for PLAT (an ERC20 token), and a wallet that allows for the display of non-fungible tokens, like game items and equipment.
