Civic has teamed with the world’s biggest brewer, Anheuser-Busch InBev, to test out a blockchain-enabled beer vending machine.

The app then interacted with a QR code on the vending machine and dispensed a free 12oz can of Bud. The trial represents the first zero-knowledge proof age verification demonstrated in a real world use case, according to Civic.
