Coinbase has announced that “trading on the CVC, DNT, LOOM, and MANA order books is about to begin” on Coinbase Pro.
This follows last Friday’s news that Coinbase was “exploring” support for 30 new digital assets to be listed on their exchange.
The speed between the announcement and the listing is a stark improvement compared to the initial five tokens that Coinbase was looking to add to the platform from July this year. Of those original five, we have seen three tokens now fully listed across the Coinbase platform.
Earlier this year, Coinbase announced their intention to support the ERC20 technical standard across the platform. Following the recent launches of 0x (ZRX), Basic Attention Token (BAT), and the Circle-backed stablecoin USDC, Coinbase has now announced support for Civic (CVC), district0x (DNT), Loom Network (LOOM), and Decentraland (MANA) for Coinbase Pro.
Just like prior announcements, Coinbase have again said: “Trading will initially be accessible for Coinbase Pro users in the US (excluding NY), UK, European Union, Canada, Singapore, and Australia. Additional jurisdictions may be added at a later date.”
