Crypterium reports ‘booming demand’ for new crypto card

London. 27th June 2019 – Crypterium, which is headed up by former Visa executive Steven Parker, says that it has shipped 3,736 of its crypto debit card in the first week since launch.

The card is loaded with the likes of Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, USD Coin and Crypterium’s own CRPT token and can be used for purchases both online and in-store. Holders can also withdraw their cryptocurrencies as cash from two million ATMs around the globe, with funds converted to local currencies.

The largest number of card orders has come from the United States and there has also been high demand in the Asia-Pacific region, with Australia ranking third. Somewhat unsurprisingly, countries with volatile economies, unstable financial systems and weak local currencies are among the top buyers.

Parker comments: “What is consistent in the booming demand for the Crypterium Card is the requirement for a stable debit card that lets holders give their crypto and traditional currencies equal status when it comes to payment.”
