Binance unterstützt weltweit erste dezentrale Bank in Malta

Es hat 155 Millionen Dollar (101 Millionen Pfund) in die Founders Bank investiert, was ihr eine Beteiligung von 5% an der neuen Blockchain-betriebenen Institution mit tokenisiertem Eigentum verschafft.

Gemäß den EU-Finanzvorschriften müssen Investoren der Gründerbank eine Lizenz von Regulierungsbehörden in Malta beantragen, die zu ein internationaler Blockchain- und Krypto-Hub wegen seiner robusten und transparenten Raumordnung .

„Malta ist geehrt, als Standort der ersten globalen Gemeinschaftsbank gewählt zu werden“, sagt Silvio Schembri, Junior Minister des Ministerpräsidenten. Chanpeng Zhao, CEO von Binance, kommentiert: „Malta ist der Fusionsboden für traditionelle und Blockchain-Finanzierungen.“
