Sustainability seminar over lunch in Covent Garden

An exclusive lunch seminar focused on sustainability initiatives in tech will be held in London’s stylish Covent Garden next week.

A spin-off from the popular Crypto Curry Clubs hosted in London, Bristol and Oxford, the ‘Tech For Sustainability’ gathering at the rooftop terrace of Robert Walters will see Mateo Dugand of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise headlining as speaker.

Mr Dugand will be discussing what tech companies in a typically energy intensive industry can do to leverage sustainability and generate revenue.

He will mention some of the initiatives in place at Hewlett Packard Enterprise used to leverage more than $470m of business through sustainability.

He will speak on what tech companies can do to achieve carbon neutrality, make revenue, ensure compliance and stand out to differentiate their business by changing some of their practices.

Also speaking will be Abbie Morris – co-founder and CEO at Compare Ethics. She will be speaking on how technology can change buying decisions and trends based on accurate, transparent data on sustainability and ethical issues in the supply chain and production line. And also on how brands can use technology to show full transparency and accountability over their product lines.

Several companies working on sustainability initiatives will be present and will share how they are using tech to drive sustainability.

There will be discussions around how businesses can use tech to reduce their environmental impact, and what technologies are most suitable.

The lunch meeting starts at 12.30pm on Thursday September 12 2019 at Robert Walters, 11 Slingsby Place. WC2E 9AB.

Tickets, priced £54.49 are available here.
