DGaming has announced the release of a crypto gaming wallet for iOS and Android users.
The news was shared with Coin Rivet in a press release. DGaming is a technology company that aims to push the decentralised gaming industry closer to mass adoption.
The company’s decentralised wallet is specifically designed for gamers and is available now on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The announcement reads: “The DGaming wallet forms part of a suite of tools and solutions being created by DGaming to push the decentralised gaming industry towards mass adoption. While the industry has shown early promise, its growth has started to stagnate as it seeks to expand beyond its current audience into the mainstream market.”
DGaming believes one of the stumbling blocks to mass adoption is the lack of accessibility for mainstream audiences to enter the blockchain gaming space. With the release of its crypto gaming wallet on the App Store and Google Play, this should help bring more awareness to audiences who otherwise might never have heard about decentralised and blockchain gaming.
The DGaming wallet is a mobile application that helps decentralised gamers manage their crypto and in-game assets. Through the wallet, users will be able to receive their ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokenised assets “conveniently and securely”.
Users will also have the ability to send, store, and receive Ethereum with support for additional cryptocurrencies to follow soon.
The Android version of the wallet boasts a built-in decentralised application (dApp) browser so gamers can play games in the same place they store their assets.
Marina Shim, chief business development officer for DGaming, said: “We have made an immense effort to get the DGaming wallet into the App Stores. Firstly, it’s unprecedented that a decentralised gaming solution is being published. Moreover, we are targeting a broad audience with our development, helping fresh players enter the DGaming industry without any extra effort. The application is as simple to use as a mobile banking app, and has a slick design.”
