EOSBet receives gaming license in the Caribbean

One of the most used dApps on the EOS blockchain, EOSBet, has received a gaming license in the Caribbean island of Curaçao.

According to State of the dApps, EOSBet averages around 1,700 daily users and a weekly volume of $10 million, putting it second on the list for most used dApps built on EOS.

Users will be able to continue using EOSBet’s Dice and Baccarat features in the same way as before, but the license means new games and features will be rolled out in the near future.

Speaking in an official press release, Frej from EOSBet said: “We’ve worked relentlessly to make this license succeed, and we will continue to strive to be the standard for smart casinos.”

The team are also working hard on securing an exchange listing, with talks underway with a “top 3 exchange” to list the BET token.

Some of the key benefits of obtaining a license were also listed in the statement, with added trustworthiness, the ability to secure large-scale partners, and increased investor confidence all being cited as reasons for why EOSBet can take the market share in terms of the cryptocurrency gaming ecosystem.
