Bitcoin está a salvo del “51% de ataque”, concluye el nuevo documento técnico. Un nuevo documento técnico publicado por Saravanan Vijayakumaran, profesor asociado del Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, y encargado por Zebpay, afirma que Bitcoin está a salvo del temido “ataque del 51%”.
Un ataque de este tipo requeriría enormes gastos y daría relativamente poco rendimiento en términos de rentabilidad financiera. En teoría, sólo un estado nación preparado para desbaratar grandes sumas podría reunir los recursos para interrumpir la red de tal manera, concluye el estudio.
“A medida que Bitcoin alcanza los 10 años de existencia y las criptomonedas se mueven más hacia la corriente principal financiera, este documento técnico que investiga la seguridad de la primera criptomoneda es una investigación oportuna e importante”, dice Ajeet Khurana, CEO de Zebpay.
