Coinbase prohíbe el controversial sitio web Gab.com de nuevo. Por segunda vez en los últimos 12 meses, el intercambio criptográfico Coinbase ha prohibido la red social conservadora Gab.com.
Ha cerrado la cuenta de comerciante de la empresa junto con la cuenta personal del fundador y CEO, Andrew Torba. Coinbase se une a una larga lista de empresas, incluyendo Medium, PayPal, GoDaddy y Stripe, que se han distanciado del sitio.
Gab.com ha sido objeto de fuego por ser la plataforma de medios sociales favorecida de la extrema derecha y los neonazis. Ganó la atención de los medios de comunicación después de que surgiera que Robert Bowers, el sospechoso de tiroteo en la sinagoga de Pittsburgh, era un usuario.
