The surging Floki Inu token has secured brand partnerships with professional football clubs in India and Spain.
The Shiba Inu inspired meme coin is partnering with Kerala Blasters Football Club – the most followed football club in India – boasting two million followers on Instagram and 1.8 million followers on Twitter.
The partnership will include the FLOKI logo and website appearing on the right sleeve of the Kerala Blasters jersey throughout the Hero Indian Super League 2021-2022 season.
With plans to become a major name in India, FLOKI hasn’t stopped there. It has also created another partnership with Spanish La Liga side Cádiz.
Like the deal with the Blasters, the right sleeve of the Cádiz jersey will show the FLOKI logo and website for the rest of the 2021-2022 season, the Spanish team announced in a statement.
The partnership with Cádiz – one of the oldest football clubs in Spain’s top football division, having been established in 1910 – includes the altcoin’s brand and website to be shown in a LED display during home matches.
With La Liga being one of the most-watched leagues in the world, with almost 2.8bn viewers, the FLOKI team said: “This partnership will truly push #FLOKI mainstream and get all eyes on the $FLOKI brand where it truly matters.”
It’s been a busy period for the FLOKI marketing arm which was criticised recently for putting up ads of the project in the London underground and is now under investigation by the Advertising Standards Authority.
