About nine hundred years ago, a tribe called the Aztecs were told by their gods that to the south lay a fertile land where they would found a great city in the future.
Led by their tribal god Huitzilopochtli, they abandoned their homeland, Hicomoztoc, also called the Seven Caves. They began an arduous three-hundred-year journey southward in search of a new place to live.
The Anime Aztecs Civilization is composed by 18 different tribes.
Animals are considered a vital part of religious and mythological symbolism and they are often used to indicate different gods and the deities who were, in turn, often associated with different animals.
Each tribe has their own mask which represents and connects them with their gods.
