Oracle demanda a CryptoOracle por 'operar en su reputación'. El gigante de TI Oracle está demandando a la startup de blockchain CryptoOracle por su nombre.
CRN informa de que presentó una demanda contra la empresa y Louis Kerner, su propietario y socio gerente, alegando infracción de marcas comerciales y ciberocupación en el Distrito Norte de California.
La queja afirma que la empresa con sede en Nueva York eligió intencionalmente el nombre de marca CryptoOracle «para comerciar con la reputación de Oracle como innovador y líder dentro de la industria tecnológica, y para evocar entre los consumidores la buena voluntad que Oracle ha construido en su propia marca famosa».
Ni Oracle ni CryptoOracle respondieron a una solicitud de comentario.
