Ripple se asocia con el banco kuwaití para remesas basadas en blockchain

La plataforma Ripple, actualmente utilizada por más de 100 instituciones financieras, también permitirá al banco supervisar los pagos de un extremo a otro.

El anuncio de Ripple de esta nueva empresa no entra en detalle en cuanto a si el banco kuwaití adoptará XCurrent, que permite liquidaciones en moneda fiat, o xRapid, que utiliza XRP para la liquidez.

A principios de este año, Ripple anunció que su blockchain RippleNet prestaba servicios a más de un centenar de empresas bancarias. «Nos complace anunciar que Bexs Banco, AirWallex, Credit Agricole, Quallix, Monedas Direct, DLocal, IFX, Krungsri, RAKBANK, y TransferGo, entre otros, se han unido a RippleNet», dijo. «Los miembros más recientes pueden contarse entre SBI Remit, SEB y Siam Commercial, que también utilizan RippleNet para enviar pagos transfronterizos».
