BBVA, Porsche Holding revendiquent transaction basée sur la blockchain. La banque espagnole Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) a clôturé un prêt de 150 millions d'euros utilisant la technologie blockchain avec Porsche Holding Salzburg.
Selon un communiqué de presse publié par BBVA, « ce n'est pas seulement le premier prêt à terme d'acquisition jamais organisé grâce à la technologie blockchain, mais Porsche Holding est également le premier emprunteur non-espagnol utilisant cette technologie pour la négociation et la clôture d'un prêt d'entreprise ».
Frank Hoefnagels, responsable de BBVA CIB en Allemagne, déclare : « Cette transaction vise à appliquer la technologie blockchain dans une pratique significative dans les interactions avec nos clients. Notre objectif est d'améliorer l'expérience des clients en simplifiant les processus et en améliorant la rapidité d'exécution. Être sur un chemin commun avec notre partenaire de longue date Porsche Holding nous rend tout aussi fiers. »
