Coinbase interdit à nouveau le site controversé Gab.com. Pour la deuxième fois au cours des 12 derniers mois, l'échange de crypto Coinbase a interdit le réseau social conservateur GAB.com. Il a fermé le compte marchand de l'entreprise ainsi que le compte personnel du fondateur et PDG, Andrew Torba.
Coinbase rejoint une longue liste de sociétés, dont Medium, PayPal, GoDaddy et Stripe, qui se sont éloignées du site.
Gab.com a été le feu pour être la plateforme de médias sociaux privilégiée de l'extrême droite et des néo-nazis. Il a attiré l'attention des médias traditionnels après qu'il est apparu que Robert Bowers, le suspect de fusillade de la synagogue de Pittsburgh, était un utilisateur.
