Steve Wozniak dit au revoir à Bitcoin. Steve Wozniak a vendu tout son Bitcoin à la suite d'un battage médiatique autour de son prix, a déclaré le co-fondateur d'Apple à un public au Nordic Business Forum à Stockholm cette semaine.
Il a acheté dans la crypto-monnaie quand une pièce vendue pour $700 : « Je voulais expérimenter avec elle... Quand elle a tourné haut, j'ai dit que je ne veux pas être l'un de ces gens qui regardent et regardent et se soucie du nombre. Je ne veux pas ce genre de soins dans ma vie. Une partie de mon bonheur est de ne pas avoir de soucis, alors j'ai tout vendu et je me suis débarrassé de ça. »
EQUI Global
En octobre dernier, Wozniak a été annoncé comme co-fondateur d'EQUI Global, un fonds de capital-risque alimenté par blockchain, aux côtés du fondateur Doug Barrowman et de la cofondatrice de la baronne Michelle Mone.
« Je reçois des idées qui me sont présentées tous les jours en fait des douzaines et je dis toujours non. Depuis que j'ai co-fondé Apple avec Steve Jobs, c'est à peu près la deuxième fois en 20 ans que je dis oui », a déclaré Wozniak. « Je veux en faire partie. Cela doit être quelque chose en quoi je crois vraiment et je crois vraiment en EQUI. »
Il dirige les investissements technologiques. « Nous avons déjà plus de 20 entreprises que nous examinons et nous n'avons même pas encore lancé officiellement. Ça va être très excitant. En fin de compte, notre mission est de rechercher, de soutenir et de financer la blockchain et les stars de la technologie de demain », a-t-il commenté.
