Gates Foundation greenlights Ripple, Coil blockchain partnership

No official announcement has been made, but, as is the way these days, people have been sounding off about it on Twitter

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is working with Ripple and Coil to implement the former’s Interledger Protocol.

The Foundation’s Deputy Director and Principal Technologist Miller Abel made the announcement in a tweet on 17th October. The partnership will also explore ways in which Mojaloop can support “pro-poor payment systems.”
