Gospel Technology scoops Red Herring Top 100 Europe award

London, England. 4th March 2019 – Gospel Technology, a provider of enterprise blockchain solutions that enable inter-enterprise trusted data collaboration and governance, has been awarded the Red Herring Top 100 Europe award, which recognises Europe’s leading private companies and celebrates the impact of innovations and technologies across various industries.

Red Herring Top 100 Europe enlists outstanding entrepreneurs and promising companies. It selects the award winners from approximately 1,200 privately financed companies each year in the European Region. Since 1996, Red Herring has kept tabs on these up-and-comers. Its Top 100 list has become a mark of distinction for identifying promising new companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring’s editors were among the first to recognise that companies such as Alibaba, Facebook, Google, SalesForce.com, Skype, SuperCell, Spotify, Twitter, and YouTube would change the way we live and work. Thousands of the most interesting and innovative companies have graced the Top 100 list over the years.

Gospel Technology’s Secure Data Platform has been acclaimed by analysts IDC as “first practical enterprise application of blockchain” and it also received a Series A investment from IA Ventures and Salesforce Ventures in 2018.

Ian Smith, CEO, says: “This award is an endorsement of the hard work and dedication of the team, and it confirms the vision and innovation of our Secure Data Platform. Our technology makes it easier for organisations to collaborate securely and we are really excited by the opportunity to transform the way organisations work – both internally and with their partners. We are thrilled to receive such a highly esteemed accolade.”

“In 2019, selecting the top achievers was by no means a small feat,” says Alex Vieux, Publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “In fact, we had the toughest time in years because so many entrepreneurs had crossed significant milestones so early in the European tech ecosystem. But after much thought, rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across Europe to the Top 100 Winners. We believe Gospel Technology embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. Gospel Technology should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was very strong.”
