Bitcoin al sicuro da '51% attacco ", conclude il nuovo white paper. Un nuovo white paper pubblicato da Saravanan Vijayakumaran, professore associato presso l'Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, e commissionato da Zebpay, afferma che Bitcoin è al sicuro dal temuto attacco del 51%.
Un simile attacco richiederebbe ingenti spese e rendimenti relativamente poco in termini di rendimenti finanziari. In teoria, solo uno stato nazionale pronto a sminuire ingenti somme potrebbe radunare le risorse per distruggere la rete in questo modo, lo studio conclude.
“Mentre Bitcoin raggiunge i 10 anni di esistenza e le criptovalute si spostano ulteriormente nel mainstream finanziario, questo white paper che analizza la sicurezza della prima criptovaluta è una ricerca tempestiva e importante”, afferma Ajeet Khurana, CEO di Zebpay.
