Matt Damon new Crypto.com poster boy after $1m donation to Water.org

In an exciting move, Crypto.com has rolled out a global advertising campaign supported by recent sponsorship announcements – and the poster boy is none other than hollywood legend Matt Damon.

The expensive advert will be an A class production – it has been directed by Oscar-winning Wally Pfister (Director of The Prestige) alongside esteemed producer David Fincher (the Fight Club cinematographer).

Titled Fortune Favors the Bold, the advertisement highlights the supposed ethos at Crypto.com through a screenplay that touches on history-making themes all centered around the timeless title phrase.

Speaking to Coin Rivet, Kris Marszalek – the CEO of Crypto.com, explained the significance of the advertisement.

“The timing of this campaign coincides with the early stages of mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency, something we’ve been hard at work to advance since our founding five years ago,” he said.

“We’re very excited to introduce our company to a global audience inviting them to our secure platform with a message focused on financial independence and self-determination.”

Crypto.com sponsor Damon’s charity

Delivering clean safe water and sanitation is the primary mission of Water.org – a global nonprofit organisation that was co-founded with the help of Matt Damon.

Preceding the advertisement deal, Crypto.com donated $1m directly to the charity as part of an effort to engage the userbase with philanthropic goals.

Speaking to Coin Rivet about the deal, the Good Will Hunting star was keen to explain how the donation would benefit the platform.

“Much like what we’re doing with Water.org, Crypto.com is a cryptocurrency platform that shares my commitment to empowering people around the globe with the tools needed to take control of their futures,” said Matt Damon.

“They have built a crypto platform that is accessible and puts people first.”
