La Korea Internet and Security Agency (KISA), gestita dallo Stato, e la Korean Housing Finance Corporation (HF) hanno firmato un protocollo d'intesa per sviluppare un sistema di archiviazione basato su blockchain per gestire documenti elettronici per mutui e prestiti.
Il sistema è inoltre finalizzato a fornire servizi autoID basati su blockchain per espandere la protezione dei dati dei clienti e ottimizzare la loro esperienza. Sulla base dell'accordo, KISA fornirà all'impresa immobiliare consulenza e tecnologia per la creazione e il funzionamento del sistema.
«Miglioreremo i nostri servizi in modo che i clienti possano utilizzare facilmente i prodotti di Housing Finance Corporation sui loro telefoni cellulari», afferma Jung-hwan Lee, CEO di HF, che fornisce servizi di finanziamento immobiliare per le famiglie a basso e medio reddito.
All'inizio di luglio, la Corea del Sud ha rivelato che i legislatori stavano lavorando a nuovi standard di classificazione per l'industria blockchain, che dovrebbero essere pronti entro la fine di questo mese. I legislatori sudcoreani stanno anche redigendo progetti di legge volti a regolamentare le criptovalute, le ICO e la tecnologia blockchain.
