Jeff Gross hosts first Coin Rivet podcast featuring DTD owner Rob Yong

Coin Rivet is delighted to announce the launch of its highly-anticipated podcast, hosted by professional poker player and cryptocurrency enthusiast Jeff Gross.

The first edition of the CR podcast features the owner of popular UK poker venue Dusk Till Dawn, Rob Yong.

The dynamic duo discuss the state of online poker as well as the expectations for live poker as the world returns to normal following the pandemic.

Rob Yong also gives a price prediction for Bitcoin at the beginning of 2023, a prediction that will be put against all upcoming podcast guests as the year goes on.

Speaking about the new podcast series, Jeff Gross said: “This is the first of a series of interviews which I am really looking forward to hosting. The pod is focused on poker and crypto. With there being such a huge amount of crossover between them you can expect guests that reflect this.”

Popularity of online poker has skyrocketed over the past two years alongside the emergence of GG Poker, but one key issue that continues to intrigue the industry is the increased use of artificial intelligence and solvers.

On the topic of AI, Yong said: “I think AI in poker could go a number of ways. We could literally play a game online where it pops up and tells you to do this via a solver, but I don’t know if that’s good for the game. Live poker is more raw and more natural.”
