John McAfee confirmed as headline speaker for Malta Blockchain Summit

Computing legend has been unveiled as the top attraction for Mediterranean island's showcase event as he gets star billing among 100 speakers for 5,000 delegates

John McAfee has been revealed as the surprise key speaker at November’s Malta Blockchain Summit.

As the small but densely-populated island continues its march towards becoming one of the world’s leading hubs for blockchain technology, the sudden announcement today will do Malta’s reputation no harm as it brings one of the biggest names in technology to its shores.

The conference – which will also be attended by Coin Rivet as we deliver full coverage of the event – boasts 300 sponsors as well as a hundred speakers. But it will be the colourful McAfee, who ran for the US Presidency in 2016 and has vowed to do so again in 2020, who is certain to be the main attraction on 1st and 2nd November.

“As one of the most prominent characters in the crypto space, we are certain that McAfee will provide a monumental contribution to the gravity of the show and the overall excitement around the summit.”
