Lympo allows withdrawals to Samsung blockchain wallet amid partnership

Blockchain-based mobile health app Lympo has secured a partnership with Samsung Health that will allow users to withdraw LYM tokens directly to Samsung’s blockchain wallet.

Lympo announced that as of July 10, users can withdraw tokens to integrated blockchain wallets on the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, and S10 5G sold in South Korea and the United States.

“Lympo is one of the very few tokens that are supported by the Samsung blockchain wallet. We are very proud to be amongst the pioneers and feel honored to have achieved this milestone,” said Lympo CEO Ada Jonuse.

The Estonia-based company raised $8.4 million during an ICO at the start of 2018 and boasts a reputable team including professional poker player and MEP Tony G as an advisor.

The company’s aim is to monetise sports and health data via the blockchain, with plans to “launch a full two-sided marketplace for fitness data” in 2020.

In April, it was announced that the app had reached 100,000 users after seeing a monthly growth rate of 252.5%.

The LYM token currently has a market cap of $11 million and a daily trade volume of around $4 million. It is listed on Gate.io, Huobi, Ethfinex, and Kucoin.

In spite of 2018’s gruelling bear market for cryptocurrency, the LYM token bucked the trend by surging from under $0.02 to $0.12 over a two-month period.

Stay tuned to Coin Rivet for an exclusive interview with Lympo’s CEO Ada Jonuse in the coming weeks.
