MoonPay appoints ex-Coinbase CEO as Chief Growth Officer

Global cryptocurrency payments solution, MoonPay, has appointed former Coinbase UK CEO Zeeshan Feroz as its Chief Growth Officer.

Feroz’s role at Coinbase UK was overseeing the company’s business outside the US. Before that, he worked as the Global Head of Payments at social payments startup Tilt.com prior to its acquisition by Airbnb.

Moonpay recently secured its in-principle approval for a Class 2 VFA licence on the back significant growth over the past 12-months, with it exceeding 1,000% in revenue growth.

On the appointment, MoonPay CEO and founder Ivan Soto-Wright, said: “As we continue to build MoonPay, maintaining and managing our exponential growth in a sustainable manner will be key.

“With years of experience in the sector and an unrivalled track record, Zeeshan’s appointment is a major coup in our continued mission to democratise cryptocurrency and provide the tools by which a billion people can access it in the next decade.”
