Bored Ape Decentraland Club (BADC) is a collection of unique digital NFTs collectibles on the Polygon blockchain (Gas-Free) on OpenSea. It’s a handmade collection from scratch and we consider each piece as small artworks that we make with a lot of dedication, effort and love. BADC is a project that we take very seriously, for which we have formed a great team and we are working hard to carry it out successfully.
Besides the artistic part, our ultimate goal is to create an ape club within the Decentraland metaverse. For this we have planned different stages, among which are the development of personalized wearables for members, the purchase of a parcel of land and the construction of a club where we can meet and organize events.
We also want the club to be managed and organized in a decentralized, autonomous and collaborative way by each and every one of the members through DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization). Your Ape doubles as your BADC (Bored Ape Decentraland Club) membership card.
Both the artistic part and the creation of the club in Decentraland represent a great challenge for us but at the same time an enormous motivation and illusion to carry it out. We have many ideas and desire to do great things, do you want to join the BADC family?
Let’s talk about the artistic aspect:
Bored Ape Decentraland Club (BADC) is a REINTERPRETATION of one of our favorite OpenSea collections, BORED APE YACHT CLUB (BAYC). We are unconditional fans and we wanted to pay tribute to these wonderful apes. Our idea has been to be INSPIRED by them but creating them from scratch, in our own way, this time making them by hand one by one, with a different style and in a more traditional and artistic way. We really wanted to play with them, with their shapes, expressions, colors and accessories. Assemble them, disassemble them and reassemble them, in short, going crazy with them!
BADC is not an automated collection capable of generating thousands of articles in a day through algorithms that mix different pieces. Our approach is not that, we did not want to make a collection of that style. At BADC we carefully make each one of the pieces by hand with a lot of dedication and love, taking our time and considering each one of them as a small work of art. That’s why we can’t launch thousands of pieces at once. We hope to be able to release 30-50 pieces (sometimes more, sometimes less) a week until we reach 999. We calculate approximately 4-5 months.</p>
In each card we can find unique information regarding the ape in question. Here we help you understand it:
In the upper left you will find a part of the Decentraland map next to its logo and the parcel of land marked in red. Below we can find written the coordinates of the parcel of land in question (for example Parcel -85,-119). All terrains are different in each BADC Item. It is the place where this ape was last seen prowling.
On the bottom right, each BADC Item has a unique, real and functional QR code, to be read with a QR scanner with your smartphone. It will take us to the OpenSea BADC collection.
All Decentraland Bored Apes have a Titanium Hoop Earrings on the top of the ear with the name of our collection that identifies you as a BADC member.
Roadmap:
As we have said before, our project is not an automated process that launches hundreds or thousands of NFTs in a day. Our intention is to treat each piece as something unique, we are going to play with it and work on it until we end up falling in love and it has something special. We want to make each small work of art one by one, with effort, dedication and a lot of love. In short, we want to have fun playing and exploring its possibilities.
Our small works of art will be released weekly prior notice to the community. We hope to be able to launch between 30 and 50 units per week. We plan to complete the collection in approximately 4 months.
The second great objective is to create a club for our crazy bored apes in Decentralad, making wareables and buying a parcel of land to build a space for all the members, with an art gallery and a meeting center for events, concerts and others.
