DJenerates is launching a four month metaverse quest searching the globe for the next rising star DJ who will be invited to perform at Amnesia Ibiza this summer.
DJenerates, the 1st NFT collection immortalizing iconic dance music characters and backed by DJs such as Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Ricardo Villalobos, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, to name a few, is set to launch the second phase of its roadmap with the launch of a global DJ search in collaboration with Amnesia Ibiza & KlubCoin.
Contestants will take part by streaming weekly DJ sets in JENR8, the virtual club in Decentral Games Metaverse. Metrics to a successful show will include :
Number of participants at the stream
NFT proof of attendance
Social media activities
A tipping mechanism powered by the cryptocurrency KlubCoin and allowing DJs to be tipped during the shows will also be used as one of the metrics.
After 4 months of weekly streamings in the metaverse club JENR8, 3 semi finalists will be chosen to perform at the contest’s final in the Amnesia virtual club in Decentral Games’ district of Decentraland. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges from Amnesia Ibiza, DJenerates, Clubbing TV, KlubCoin, DJ Mag, and the LAZR DAO.
The lucky DJ winner of this event will be flown to Ibiza for an exclusive gig at Amnesia Ibiza this coming summer and receive 10,000 KlubCoins along with a feature in DJ Mag.
