Urban Desi Women is all about the acceptance and appreciation of Indian feminine beauty in all its manifestations. Unfortunately at the moment India doesn’t have the best reputations when it comes to the safety of women. Gang rapes, acid attacks and other forms of suppression dominate the image presented by international media. So by celebrating Indian beauty we want to establish and contribute to a positive counter-message where India is not demonized when it comes to positioning women, but instead recognized for its rich and spiritual heritage on this topic.
