Bitcoin seguro de “51% ataque”, novo whitepaper conclui. Um novo whitepaper lançado por Saravanan Vijayakumaran, Professor Associado do Instituto Indiano de Tecnologia (IIT) Bombay, e encomendado pela Zebpay, afirma que o Bitcoin está a salvo do temido “ataque de 51%”.
Tal ataque exigiria despesas enormes e produziria relativamente pouco em termos de retornos financeiros. Em teoria, apenas um estado-nação preparado para fritar grandes somas poderia possivelmente reunir os recursos para interromper a rede de tal forma, conclui o estudo.
“À medida que o Bitcoin atinge 10 anos de existência e as criptomoedas se movem para o mainstream financeiro, este whitepaper investigando a segurança da primeira criptomoeda é uma pesquisa oportuna e importante”, diz Ajeet Khurana, CEO da Zebpay.
