Quant Network joins MOBI

London. 6th December – Quant Network has joined Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative (MOBI) – a global consortium of industry leading automakers, technology based startups, and other mobility players.

As a member, Quant Network will collaborate with industry leaders in pursuit of the creation of a minimum viable ecosystem that aims to standardise blockchain and related technologies to bring transparency and trust to the industry, consumers, and communities and reduce frictions and transaction costs in mobility.

Quant Network’s blockchain operating system, Overledger, provides interoperability between blockchains and existing networks and systems, reducing barriers to adoption, facilitating innovative uses of blockchain technology with low risk to enterprise.

“We are pleased to be collaborating with MOBI,” says Gilbert Verdian, CEO of Quant Network. “Mobility, IOT and transportation will be powered by distributed networks and are vital to the creation of future cities and communities. We are excited for the opportunity for Quant Network and MOBI to collaborate in advancing the future of mobility and the machine economy today. Our Overledger operating system will enable interconnectivity and interoperability of data between manufacturers, devices, transportation and autonomous vehicles.”
