Safello and Yoti announce partnership to enable users to purchase crypto in less than 60 seconds

Safello and Yoti have announced a new partnership with the aim to provide users with a way to buy crypto directly in less than 60 seconds without having to create an account.

Safello is an online cryptocurrency brokerage regulated as a financial institution based in Sweden.

Yoti is a global technology company founded in 2014 which provides a digital identity app with more than 3.8 million downloads.

The partnership was announced in a press release shared with Coin Rivet. It will see Safello’s brokerage platform integrate Yoti’s encrypted identity verification for “simple and fast digital currency purchases”.

Safello customers will now be able to purchase crypto directly from safello.com without having to create an account or log in to an existing one.

The press release details how users will be “able to complete the entire purchase process within 60 seconds”.

All users will need to do is select their desired cryptocurrency and amount, verify instantly with Yoti, and then pay with a credit card.

Yoti’s identity verification technology will also be embedded into Safello’s integration widget.

Reportedly, wallet providers, browsers, app makers, and crypto news sites will be able to integrate Safello’s widget onto their platforms to provide their users with the same “secure, seamless, and fast process to purchase crypto with a credit card, without having to create or log in to an account”.

Frank Schuil, CEO of Safello, commented: “With Yoti verification integrated into Safello brokerage, we are replacing cumbersome Know-Your-Customer (KYC) processes with a simple and universal app.”

Tom White, future technologies lead at Yoti, stated: “Individuals will create their Yoti once and then be able to use it time and time again to prove their identity or authenticate who they are in a fast, simple, and secure way.”
