BREAKING NEWS: SEBA Crypto enlists Loomis International for crypto bank push

In September, SEBA Crypto raised CHF100 million to build a FINMA licenced bank and securities dealer

Switzerland-based startup SEBA Crypto has announced a partnership with Loomis International to build deep cold storage for crypto assets as part of the development of its new bank.

It says that this will involve Tempest level A NATO-grade physical security; cryptographic keys to be kept in a vault located deep in a Swiss mountain, guarded by multiple steel doors and biometrics.

“A strategic partnership with Loomis underscores our commitment to meet the stringent security standards required to be a regulated entity,” says Guido Buehler, Chief Executive of SEBA Crypto.

Urs Röösli, President Loomis International, comments: “The agreement marks a new stage in our longstanding history as a leading secure asset handling firm. Our partnership with SEBA enables us to provide a physical custody solution with a reputable visionary partner in the crypto economy.”
