Seven top firms seek blockchain experts

Deloitte has an EMEA blockchain lab operating in Ireland and is currently seeking various techies to work there.

Mastercard is boosting its Irish operations and is hiring 175 people, particularly, software engineers, data scientists and blockchain specialists.

Accenture is also on a hiring spree, including various employees to work on its blockchain development.

Wachsman is expanding its Dublin office and will create 50 new jobs by 2019, including event management to lead a strategic advisory in blockchain technology.

PwC has expanded its operations into a number of areas, including various roles in blockchain.

ConsenSys is a serious player in the blockchain sector and is an adviser to the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum. In May, it said it would create 60 new roles within the next 12 months. About 42 of those will be in blockchain and full-stack engineering.

And finally, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, has various roles available in the blockchain space.
