Storiqa: ‘Singapore a perfect base for global growth’

Blockchain powered e-commerce marketplace, Storiqa, has launched beta.storiqa.com, with an initial focus on the Asia-Pacific region and particularly Singapore.

The venture is offering the first batch of sellers a free three-month trial period along with marketing help. It currently has 20 brands listed on its marketplace and 170 goods. All product lines are priced with the STQ token, a measure of exchange on the platform. Later on down the line, shoppers will be able to pay for goods with fiat along with crypto.

“Currently we see Singapore as an initial trial market for us. It’s highly international and is a perfect base for further global growth. The launch will not only help breakdown existing obstacles but also gain experience for a world first case of shopping with cryptos. After a limited market test run, we will scale up the business model to other countries,” says CEO of Storiqa, Andrian Galkin.
