Vitalik Buterin to lead world’s first ‘SuperMeetup’ in Hong Kong

Ethereum regional leaders and enthusiasts will unite to explore future development plans

Ethereum chief Vitalik Buterin is to preside over a gathering of regional leaders and Asian communities in Hong Kong next month.

The Canada-based entrepreneur will also be making a keynote address to the 500 attendees at the famous Kerry Hotel.

Ethereum community groups from Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Philippines, Sydney, Hanoi, and Jakarta will be at the ‘SuperMeetup’ as part of TOKEN2049 on March 13th.

The groups will be discussing the past, present, and future of the expanding Ethereum ecosystem.

Some leading voices from the space will also be delivering lectures, keynote speeches, and panel discussions.

Among the notable names are Jehan Chu, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Kenetic Capital; Shaun Djie, Co-founder and COO of Digix; Kazuki Obata of Smart Contract Capital; Brian Cheong of TTC Protocol; Chih-Cheng Liang of Ethereum Research; James Zaki of Ethereum Sydney; Veronica Andrino of Ethereum Boracay; and Teguh Kurniawan Harmanda of TokoCrypto.

The event is free to attend and will take place from 6.30pm on March 13th 2019 at TOKEN2049 in the Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong.
