Enjin to launch a charity platform with the SENS research foundation

Enjin is going to launch a charity platform in partnership with the SENS research foundation to encourage more donors to actively contribute to charities

Enjin is launching a charity platform in partnership with the SENS research foundation to encourage more donors to actively contribute to charities.

The SENS research foundation is committed to curing diseases related to age alongside advancing human longevity.

SENS has now partnered with blockchain gaming innovator Enjin to make charitable donations more transparent and engaging.

Enjin is a project built on the Ethereum platform and recognised by the ETH foundation. It recently released its software development kit (SDK) on the Ethereum blockchain.

The partnership will leverage Enjin’s community of 20 million gamers, powerful blockchain tools, and sophisticated decentralised technology to “drive more effective and interactive fundraising for worthy cases globally”.

Enjin has already launched a pilot donations program through the partnership with SENS.

The pilot is reportedly designed to showcase how a more playful and engaging framework for donors could be fostered by “gamifying” the fundraising process.

In return, donors will receive tangible rewards in the form of unique blockchain-based collectable items. These items are known as non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

NFTs will provide greater transparency since all donations will be recorded on a public blockchain.

NFTs can be actively collected and traded. This encourages users to complete their collections. Complete NFT portfolios will grant collectors special rewards.

Maxim Blagov, CEO at Enjin, commented: “By creating a more exciting, playful, and incentive-based system for people to donate, we will encourage the ecosystem for active ongoing contributions with strong potential to go viral globally, instead of one-time donations.”
