The second trailer for upcoming blockchain-based role-playing game (RPG) BlueDawn has been released, with the beta launch expected this year.
BlueDawn is a mobile RPG heavily influenced by Japanese-style games. A recent Medium blog post by the development team has provided more details on its characters and locations.
The blog post details how the team at ITAM Games (the developers behind BlueDawn) have been hard at work on the game to release it as soon as possible, but without sacrificing quality.
It provides insight into six characters: Elaine, Rian, Youjin, Raven, Tricia, and Caser.
Elaine is one of the main characters and the princess of Rudrun Kingdom who dons the role of a supporter. Rian is the guardian knight of Rudrun who ventures with Elaine and is equipped with a double-handed sword.
Youjin is a powerful mystic knight who utilises an energy-imposed double-handed sword. The announcement teases that his story will only be revealed in-game.
Raven is described as a character who will do anything to take down an enemy, Tricia is a card magician who was previously a casino dealer, and Caser is dubbed as the “almighty boss monster”.
The harbour town is one area revealed in the trailer, which is described as “notorious for its study castle and various hidden stories”.
Another area previewed is the Drain Islands, or the Village of Pirates, and is a subtropical location famed for its pirate inhabitants.
Finally, there is the Midnight Forest, an area where Elaine and Rian flee in a bid to evade the Empire’s invasion.
