Latest Ripple price and analysis (XRP to USD)

XRP remains in a bullish posture as it moves into the typically volatile weekend. It is currently trading at $0.625 following a stunning rise from below $0.30 in November

Ripple’s XRP token is currently consolidating in a bullish zone following its remarkable performance over the past month.

The world’s third largest cryptocurrency by market cap is trading at $0.625 as it lines up a move back to the $0.676 level of resistance.

Short-term levels of support remain at both $0.592 and $0.573, although it seems a though a move to the upside is more likely over the coming days and weeks.

If XRP can begin to trade above $0.676, its next hurdle will be its yearly high of $0.78, which was also a local top in September, 2018.

Much of its upcoming trajectory will depend on the direction of Bitcoin and whether it can break is all-time high of $20,000 with conviction on heavy volume.

While altcoins like XRP may initially suffer if Bitcoin breaks its all-time high, profits will eventually be diversified into more speculative assets which is when XRP will most likely break its yearly high.

If, however, Bitcoin fails to breach $20,000 and slumps back to the low $17,000 mark, altcoins will bear the brunt of the sell-off with a downside target of $0.50 becoming a likely taget.
