Monero (XMR) price analysis over 2018

2018 was a difficult year for cryptocurrencies, with wide-scale falls in value. The price of XMR dropped 86.03% since it opened at $331.83 on January 1st, 2018. It closed on December 31st, 2018 at $46.37.

Despite the dramatic drop in value over 2018, XMR is still one of the biggest, most well known, and most widely traded cryptocurrencies around. It is often in the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation.
