Upcoming blockchain-based fantasy role-playing game The Six Dragons has announced on Twitter that it is teaming up with the Blockchain Game Alliance (BGA).
The Blockchain Game Alliance is an organisation dedicated to promoting mass adoption for blockchain technology within the video games industry.
It currently boasts several notable members including the hugely successful Ubisoft and blockchain gaming giant Enjin.
One of its aims is to spread awareness about blockchain technology and how it can foster new ways to create, play, publish, and build strong communities that are driven by video games.
Announcing its union with the Blockchain Game Alliance, The Six Dragons tweeted: “We are delighted to announce that The Six Dragons has joined forces with the Blockchain Game Alliance.
“We are looking forward to collaborating with the BGA to accelerate the adoption of blockchain gaming initiatives to mainstream audiences.”
The BGA has board members from numerous well-established companies in the gaming and blockchain sectors, such as Enjin, Ubisoft, Everdreamsoft, ConSensys, B2Expand, and Gimbl.
The fact that The Six Dragons has teamed up with the BGA is even more interesting when you consider it is part of the Enjin Multiverse of blockchain games.
This could be indicative of further collaborations with the BGA from other games that are part of the Enjin Multiverse.
While it is not yet known to what capacity The Six Dragons will be collaborating with the BGA, the move should help it gather more momentum in the run up to its release.
