When EF Hutton speaks crypto, will investors listen?

US Stock brokerage firm EF Hutton has launched a series of new reports exclusively focusing on a range of digital assets.

The reports will look at Bitcoin, Ripple, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, EOS and Cardano, among many others, it says in a press release.

The aim is to educate investors who are interested in but “confused” by cryptocurrencies. The reports will include a daily crypto market update, rating (one to five stars ) of cryptocurrencies and an equity research report on firms operating in the industry.

They are available through monthly subscriptions divided into three categories, according to EF Hutton’s website:

  1. Marker Observer costs $19 a month but comes with a seven-day delay.
  2. Informed Investor, which it claims to be the most popular, with a monthly cost of $39 a month with a 48-hour delay.
  3. Pro Trader costs $99 a month but has no delay whatsoever.

Investors are confused

“A great many investors are confused by the rapid developments in this new asset class,” says EF Hutton CEO Christopher Daniels. “They know they can trust EF Hutton to guide them and to inform them about developments in this asset class. This is the first of many initiatives we are taking that adds value for our clients and customers.”

Many investors in the US are interested in cryptocurrency but refuse to venture into the sector “because they cannot find research from sources they trust. EF Hutton intends to provide keen insights and deep analysis that make its research reports must read by individuals and institutions interested in this asset class”.

Two birds with one stone

EF Hutton is firstly tapping into the market research sector which is worth over $19 billion yearly. Secondly, it plans to capitalise on all those investors who are interested in cryptocurrency but require trusted information before venturing into the market.

It has other crypto initiatives in the works. Its affiliate and EF Hutton subsidiary, Megga., has developed a virtual currency called MeggaCoin as part of its Meggalife.com social platform. The MeggaCoin, which can be mined by anyone and redeemed for cash, is currently in the beta test stage.

“The firm provides digital finance services including online investment services. EF Hutton has a 114 year legacy of quality advice to investors. That’s why, ‘When EF Hutton talks, people listen’”, it concludes.
